Australia’s Tim Guest is an entrepreneur, investor, motivational speaker, author and financial educator. Tim is renowned for his exceptional seminars which promote financial education and personal wealth creation. Following his first workshop in 2010, each year thousands of Australians attend Tim’s courses, making him the most prominent independent financial educator in the country today.
Parents Raymond Geoffrey and Teresa Margaret Guest welcomed Timothy James Guest on the 12th of November 1977. Tim’s early years were spent in Gosnells, an outer metropolitan suburb of Western Australia. Growing up in a single income family who battled during the 1980s recession inspired Tim’s desire for both financial security and financial freedom.
In his late teens and early twenties Tim used books and tapes to self-learn, while also attending seminars and building relationships with mentors. From this learning and his own initiative Tim gained traction in his consulting business and property investment portfolio, which led him to semi-retire a self-made multimillionaire at the age of 27.
Following his semi-retirement, Tim pursued his interest in neuroscience and the development of human potential by spending seven years training with the best local and international performance coaches and professional development organisations. The highlight of this educational period was training with Werner Erhard and Mike Jensen, in conjunction with Landmark Education and the Harvard School of Business. Tim’s extensive pursuit of such specialized training has led him to acquire skills in leading transformative and ontological programs, based in neuroscience and performance coaching.
Motivated by his experience working on transformational education and neuroscience, Tim developed an unprecedented methodology for personal financial growth education. Tim’s workshops are commended by participants because they work to actively impact the participants’ relationship with and view of money. This leaves attendees able to action their learning, and produce results with their financial goals that they previously did not think were possible. With well over 10,000 people attending a Plan Your Way to Wealth Workshops, there is no doubt of Tim’s standing as a major contributor to Australians’ financial literacy and education.
Tim started his first business at the age of 23, and has since both built and purchased multiple businesses. The majority of Tim’s businesses operate under The Infinite Group of Companies, which cover his business interests in the areas of finance, investment, financial services, property investment, property development, education, health, business development, personal development and hospitality.
Infinite Wealth, is Tim’s most recognisable business. Infinite Wealth specialises in financial strategies, at the education, design and implementation stage. With help from the experts at Infinite Wealth, thousands of the company’s clients have reached their financial goals, including creating maximum leverage and long term sustainable growth. In less than four years, Infinite Wealth has generated in excess of a quarter of a billion dollars investment in the Australian economy. It is also one of only six WA businesses to rank on the 2014 BRW Fast Starters list. At the heart of the organisation is giving back, and as such Infinite Wealth donates 10% of its profits every year to the community and charitable organisations including Youth Focus, the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children Foundation and the Telethon Kids Appeal.
Tim regularly participates in fundraising and charity events, and is also a major financial contributor to community and philanthropic causes. Tim is passionate about suicide prevention and awareness, as well as supporting sick and disadvantaged children and their families.
Some highlights of Tim’s recent philanthropic work include:
